What I Have Learned About Life At age 70
First, I have learned that life is not always fair. No matter how hard you work or how good of a person you are, bad things can happen to you. This is something that I have had to come to terms with, and it has made me more resilient.
Second, I have learned that being healthy is better than being wealthy. I am not saying that money is not important, but health is the most important thing. Money can’t buy your health, and without health, money is meaningless.
Third, I have learned that you should always treat others with respect, even if they don’t deserve it.
There are eight additional things on my mind today. Maybe tomorrow there will be a different list.
70 years is a long time to be alive!
This is perhaps the most obvious thing that I have learned in my 70 years, but it bears repeating. Life is precious and should not be taken for granted. No matter how many hardships we face, we should appreciate every moment that we are alive. That’s why it’s important to enjoy life while we still can. So go out there and live your best life! Life is short and unpredictable. You can’t take it with you when you go, so enjoy it while you can.
